TPO is the new force in the mobile display industry.

A partnership of two industry leaders ¡V Toppoly Optoelectronics Corp. and Philips Mobile Display Systems (MDS) ¡V TPO was established in June 2006 to create the new powerhouse focused on small and medium-sized mobile displays.

TPO combines the complementary strengths and synergies of Toppoly Optoelectronics Corp. and Philips MDS.

Toppoly Optoelectronics is recognized as a global pioneer in the development and manufacturing of advanced LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) flat panel displays and next generation AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) display technology. The company has proven in-house design capability, an extensive R&D operation, and core manufacturing facilities in Nanjing, China and in Chunan, Taiwan.


Building on its capabilities as the first and largest mobile display manufacturer in China and a world-class R&D center in Shanghai ¡V Philips MDS is contributing with its substantial intellectual property portfolio, market-leading display technologies, broad global customer base and a reputation for excellence. In 2004, Philips MDS set an industry record, shipping an unprecedented one billion mobile displays.


TPO offers a highly competitive product and technology portfolio of distinctive , value added displays to meet customer display requirements in the telecommunications, consumer electronics, automotive, information display and avionics arenas.

Headquartered in Chunan, Taiwan, TPO is one of the largest TFT manufacturer in the world with 15,400 employees. The TPO's international network comprises over 13 offices in over 12 countries across 4 continents: operating in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, USA & South America.
