• Philips has been in the display business for more than 45 years, and has consistently remained at the forefront of product and technology innovation. Philips formed its first joint venture in China in 1985 And in 2004, Philips is the first and only company to achieve the industry record – the shipment of 1 billion mobile displays.
• Toppoly Optoelectronics was established in Taiwan in 1999 and, in the years that followed, successfully pioneered LTPS (Low Temperature Poly Silicon) technology in the flat panel industry and, through a comprehensive in-house R&D and design capability, has continuously developed next generation display technology to capture this increasingly challenging market. It has won several Golden Panel awards in Taiwan for its innovation, and currently has two state of the art and high capacity manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and another in Nanjing, China.
